LA PLUME, PA – Marissa Surdy (Mountaintop, PA/Crestwood) scored two goals and added one assist and Aliya Frankel (Ventnor, NJ/Holy Spirit) added a goal and two helpers to power visiting Wilkes University to a 4-1 win at Keystone College Wednesday afternoon.
 
With the win Wilkes improves to 4-7 overall while Keystone drops to 2-11 on the year.
 
Maura Brownsey (Glenside, PA/Saint Basil Academy) put Wilkes on the board first when she tapped home an assist from Frankel on the back post just :51 into the game.
 
Frankel added her lone goal of the game at the 14:38 mark off an assist from Surdy when her shot from close found the back of the net to up the lead to 2-0.
 
Surdy put the game out of reach with back-to-back goals at the 63:45 and 65:27 mark of the second half as Wilkes led 4-0 late. Brownsey and Frankel notched assists on the two goals respectively.
 
Alexis Reed (Greenport, NY/Greenport) picked up the win in net for Wilkes finishing with four saves. Wilkes held a commanding shot advantage at 20-8 while garnering a season-high 22 penalty corners to Keystone's four chances.
 
Wilkes returns to Freedom Conference play Saturday traveling to Center Valley, Pa. for a 1:00 p.m. matchup with DeSales University.
