Four Colonels earned extra point wins in the match. • The Colonels finished fourth at the 2014 Monarch Invitational last Saturday to open the season. Wilkes had ten wrestlers finish in the top-six including two individual champions at 133-pounds (Michael Fleck (Easton, PA/Wilson Area)) and 141-pounds (Pankil Chander (Cedarhurst, NY/Lawrence)). • Eight other Colonels earned top-six finishes joining Fleck and Chander at the Monarch Invitational. Matthew Grossmann (Lancaster, PA/Manheim Township) finished second at 133, Corey Fleming (Long Valley, NJ/West Morris) sixth at 133, Thomas Stokes (Bensalem, PA/Bensalem) third at 133, Ryan Smith (Honesdale, PA/Honesdale) fifth at 141, Mason McIntyre (Bethlehem, PA/Easton) sixth at 165, Kyle Diesel (Westtown, NY/Minisink Valley) third at 174, James McNally (Scranton, PA/Scranton) fourth at 184, and David Oberrender third at 285. • The Colonels 2014-15 roster goes 38 deep with a class breakdown of: 6 seniors; 7 juniors; 11 sophomores; and 14 freshmen. • The roster also features athletes from five states: Pennsylvania - 20; New Jersey - 14; New York 2; Maryland - 1; Washington - 1. Weighing In125 – G.
