Wilkes first posted a 36-6 victory over W&J, then claimed a 47-3 win against Trinity. The two wins inches the program closer to 800 as Wilkes needs just two more victories to reach the 800-win mark. Wilkes stands 15-3 overall on the year following the wins. Wilkes used four extra point wins (two falls) and a forfeit to cruise past Washington and Jefferson in its first match of the day. After a forfeit at 125, Myzar Mendoza (Westminster, MD/Winters Mill) earned a 10-0 major decision over Daniel Pommerer to up the lead to 10-0. Pankil Chander (Cedarhurst, NY/Lawrence) claimed an 8-4 decision at 141 and Mark Hartenstine (Easton, PA/Easton) moved to 26-1 on the year with a 16-0 technical fall at 149-pounds as Wilkes led 18-0 after four bouts. After a W&J decision at 157-pounds, Phil Racciato (Pen Argyl, PA/Pen Argyl) (165) and Kyle Diesel (Westtown, NY/Minisink Valley) (174) each posted decision wins to extend the advantage to 24-3. Eric Bach (Newton, NJ/Kittatiny) (197) and William Fletcher (Ottsville, PA/Palisades) (285) closed out the Colonels scoring each pinning their opponents in the first period. In the match against Trinity, Wilkes grabbed two forfeit wins to jump ahead 12-0 after two bouts. Michael Fleck (Easton, PA/Wilson Area) posted a technical fall at 141-pounds beating Scott Gonzalez 16-0 in 2:53. Hartenstine (149), Kris Krawchuk (Slatington, PA/Northern Lehigh) (157), Sean Lombardi (Newton, NJ/Kittatiny) (165) and Nick Lynch (Horsham, PA/Hatboro-Horsham) (174) all pinned their opponents to give the Colonels a 35-0 advantage with three bouts remaining. Jacob Brook (Layton, NJ/Kittatiny) rode out a tough 3-2 overtime win over Joe Gerish at 184-pounds and Nicholas Dawson (Montoursville, PA/Montoursville) closed the Colonels scoring with an 11-4 decision over Kyle McGuire at 285.
