Wilkes slips to 1-1 on the year following the loss while Salisbury improves to 2-0. Salisbury opened the scoring when Samantha Johnson scored the first of her three goals at the 13:25 mark. Johnson added her second strike at 26:18 off an assist from Courtney Jantzen before completing the hat trick with a goal at 30:35 off a helper from Mallory Elliott. One more Salisbury goal pushed the lead to 4-0 at the break. Goals from Jantzen, Becca Rinaca, Jesse Todd and two from Natalie Wilkinson capped the Salisbury scoring in the second frame. Wilkes' lone goal came when Maura Anistranski (Forty Fort, PA/Wyoming Valley West) deflected home a shot from Aliya Frankel (Ventnor, NJ/Holy Spirit) at the 58:47 mark of the second half. Savannah McCauley (York, PA/West York) finished with 14 saves for Wilkes, while Rachel Clewer notched the win making one save in net for Salisbury.
