Wilkes sees its overall mark move to 4-6 overall following the two matches on Friday. Wilkes scored the straight set win against Medgar Evers by scores of 25-5, 25-12 and 25-5. Six Lady Colonels recorded three kills or more in the matches as Madison Scarfaro (Whitehall, PA/Whitehall) and Danica Benson (Allentown, PA/Emmaus) led the way with four kills each. Keystone claimed the second match of the day by scores of 25-18, 25-16 and 25-23. Ally Paskas (Rutherford, NJ/Rutherford) enjoyed a fine match on the attack for Wilkes finishing with 11 kills and 11 digs. Marissa Mallory (Pine Bush, NY/Pine Bush) followed with eight kills and eight digs, while Alexis Morgan (Walnutport, PA/Northampton) led the passing game with a career-high 19 assists. Wilkes concludes the tournament with a 12:00 p.m. match against Purchase College (N.Y.) on Saturday.Print Friendly Version
