Wilkes sees its overall mark move to 7-8 overall following the split. In the first match of the day, the Lady Colonels posted a 3-1 victory over Cedar Crest by scores of 25-20, 23-25, 25-18 and 25-22. Danica Benson (Allentown, PA/Emmaus) led the attack with nine kills and six service aces. Ellen Mook (Meadville, PA/Meadville) followed with seven kills and nine digs, while Grace Boyle (Andreas, PA/Marion Catholic) added six kills and seven digs. Theresa Couchara (Norristown, PA/Archbishop Carroll) paced the passing game with 15 assists. Marywood took the first two sets of the second match of the day 25-21 and 25-23 before Wilkes claimed a 25-15 win in the third set. The Pacers clinched the match in the fourth set posting a 25-17 win. Ally Paskas (Rutherford, NJ/Rutherford) enjoyed a career day finishing with a career-high 16 kills and 12 digs. Marissa Mallory (Pine Bush, NY/Pine Bush) followed with nine kills and seven digs while Mook and Benson combined for 13 kills. Erin Nothstein (Mertztown/Brandywine Heights) anchored the Wilkes backline with a match-high 22 digs.
