CENTER VALLEY, Pa- Morgan Jones (Huntley, MT/Huntley Project) ran the eighth-fastest 6k in school history to lead the Wilkes University women's cross country team to an 11^th place finish at the DeSales University Invitational on Saturday morning.

Jones finished in 24:45 to come in 17^th place and medal in the event. She was followed by Regan Murphy (Plainfield, PA/Pen Argyl) in 63^rd place at 27:19, Tracey Hilker (Hummelstown, PA/Lower Dauphin) in 67^th at 27:28, and Alexis Nicholson (Allentown, PA/Allentown Central Catholic) in 99^th at 28:54. Carmen Hillman (Urbana, OH/Graham School) (29:50), Kaitlyn Sitch (Weatherly, PA/MMI Prep) (30:03, personal best), and Michelle Brenneman (Schuylkill Haven, PA/Schuylkill Haven) (30:16) round out the finishers for the Lady Colonels.

Wilkes returns to the track on Saturday at the Alvernia Invitational in Reading at 10 a.m.
