DALLAS, Pa.- Misericordia's Alex Gallagher scored in the 31^st minute to give the Cougars the only score of the game as the Wilkes University women's soccer game was defeated 1-0 in Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) play in Dallas on Tuesday night.

The Lady Colonels fell to 4-8-1 (1-2-0 MAC Freedom) with the loss while Misericordia improved to 11-2-1 (3-0-0 MAC Freedom).

Gallagher's goal came off an assist by Jacqueline Stevens.

Wilkes goalkeeper Kate Mahoney (Kingston, NH/Central Catholic) made six saves in net.

The Lady Colonels will return to action on Saturday when they host MAC Freedom foe King's College. Saturday's game will be senior day where pre-game ceremonies will honor the eight graduating Lady Colonel seniors.
