DALLAS, Pa- The Wilkes University men's soccer team was defeated at Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) foe Misericordia University by a 3-0 final on Wednesday night.

The Colonels fell to 4-9-0 overall and 1-2 in MAC Freedom play while the Cougars improved to 6-5-1 and 2-1 in MAC Freedom play.

Misericordia scored its goals in the eighth, 31^st, and 59^th minutes.

Wilkes had its best opportunity to score in the 72^nd minute when Camry Huff (Waynesboro, PA/Waynesboro) lined a shot that rung off the crossbar.

Tim Gallagher (Easton, PA/Notre Dame Green Pond) made five saves in net for the Colonels.

Wilkes returns to action on Saturday when it will host MAC Freedom foe King's College for a 1 p.m. match. Saturday's game will also serve as the team's senior day, where the six senior Colonels will be honored with a pregame ceremony.
