EDWARDSVILLE- The Wilkes University men's soccer team fell by a 3-1 final against Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) foe Eastern University on Tuesday evening at Schmidt Stadium.

The Colonels fell to 4-11-0 overall and 1-4-0 in MAC Freedom play while the Eagles improved to 13-0-2 and 4-0-1.

After Eastern took the lead in the second minute, Casey Ritsick (Mountaintop, PA/Crestwood) centered a pass to Kyle Joyce (Warminster, PA/Archbishop Wood) who drilled it into the lower right corner of the net to tie the game in the 35th minute.

The Eagles regained the lead in the 45^th minute, and added to it in the 54^th minute.

Tim Gallagher (Easton, PA/Notre Dame Green Pond) made nine saves in net for Wilkes.

The Colonels return to action on Saturday when they travel to DeSales for a 2:30 p.m. MAC Freedom match.
