Wilkes Women's Cross Country Finishes Season at NCAA Mid-East Regional
CARLISLE, PA – The Wilkes University women's cross country team finished 41
st of 50 teams at the NCAA Mid-East Regional hosted by Dickinson College on Saturday afternoon.
Full Results Morgan Jones (Huntley, MT/Huntley Project) led all Wilkes runners coming in at 24:21, the sixth best time in the 6k in school history. Jones was the 15th-best freshman finisher in the women's race
Tracey Hilker (Hummelstown, PA/Lower Dauphin) followed at a season-best 26:17 while
Regan Murphy (Plainfield, PA/Pen Argyl) crossed the line at a season-best 26:56.
Alexis Nicholson (Allentown, PA/Allentown Central Catholic) finished at 28:02 (personal best),
Kaitlyn Sitch (Weatherly, PA/MMI Prep) at 28:58 (personal best),
Michelle Brenneman (Schuylkill Haven, PA/Schuylkill Haven) at 29:31 and
Carmen Hillman (Urbana, OH/Graham School) at 30:35.
