After battling with Manhattanville College Saturday in a close game throughout, Wilkes took the win with a final score of 87-82. The Lady Colonels are looking to revenge an early season defeat to the Eagles as they look to stay in the Freedom Conference postseason race. Elena Stambone (Jessup, PA/Valley View) continues to lead the Lady Colonels offensively averaging 16.6 points per-game. Chelsea Brown (Garnet Valley, PA/Garnet Valley) is leading the Colonels with an average of 8.1 rebounds per-game while adding 11.0 points per-game. Cara Basile (Whitehall, PA/Whitehall) averages 9.6 points and 5.2 rebounds while shooting 43.2 percent from the field. Chelsea Smelas (Jim Thorpe, PA/Jim Thorpe) averages 8.8 points and 5.7 boards per-game. The Lady Colonels have lost 10 straight games to Eastern having last won during the 2010-11 season. The Colonels lost to the Eagles in December 88-49 in St. Davids, Pa. Eastern comes into the game with a record of 15-4 overall and 7-1 in the conference.
