Women's Lacrosse Defeats Falcons 18-1
EDWARDSVILLE, PA – The Lady Colonels scored 15 first half goals en route to an 18-1 non-conference win over Cedar Crest College on Monday evening.
Carley Smith (York, PA/Dallastown) recorded 10 points on the night including a program single game record nine assists.
Madeleine Brownsey (Glenside, PA/St. Basil Academy) led the Lady Colonels with five goals scored on five shots.
Jessyca Held (West Babylon, NY/West Babylon) picked up three goals and an assist for a four-point evening.
Tori Kerr (Beacon, NY/Beacon) scored a pair of goals and added an assist for three total points while
Melanie Rivera (Middletown, NY/Middletown), and
Samantha Lawlor (Brookfield, CT/Brookfield) scored twice.
Maura Rivera,
Jessica MacConchie (Jackson, NJ/Jackson), and
Meaghan Skelly (Yorktown Heights, NY/Yorktown) all pitched in with goals on the evening.
Kellie Kalada (Mountaintop, PA/Crestwood) made two saves in goal picking up her 7
th win of the season as Wilkes improves to 7-1 on the season.
The Lady Colonels return to action tomorrow when they travel to Ithaca College to take on Wells College at 1:30 p.m.
