Wilkes moves to 6-12 overall and 2-4 in league play following the conference split. Game two was a thriller with each team trading leads throughout. Wilkes took an early 2-0 lead after two thanks to Alex Hoops (Mountaintop, PA/Crestwood)' first home run of the year, a two-run shot to left field. Manhattanville answered in the third inning tying and taking the lead scoring five runs. A two-run home run in the fourth and RBI double in the fifth extended the Valiants advantage to 8-4. Wilkes answered back in the bottom of the fifth tying the game at 8-8 using two bases-loaded walks and an RBI groundout from Sarah Birchmeier (Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill East). Seccia gave the Lady Colonels the lead back with a two-run single to left field to end the rally. Manhattanville again came back to tie the game and take the lead at 10-9 in the sixth with two RBI hits. Another insurance run in the top of the seventh setup the final at-bat for Wilkes down 11-9. In the seventh, Christina Gambino (Basking Ridge, NJ/Ridge) singled up the middle cutting the lead to 11-10 scoring Liz Lisecki and one batter later both Wilkes runners advanced on a wild pitching plating the tying run. From there, Seccia knocked home the game-winning tally with an RBI hit through the left side as Wilkes escaped with the one-run conference victory. Gambino picked up the win in the circle pitching the final two and one-third innings. Seccia finished 4-for-5 with three RBI's in game two. Wilkes stormed out to a 3-0 lead in game one only to see Manhattanville battle back to tie the game in the second inning and score six runs in the fifth holding on for the 9-7 win. Lacey Bixler (Williamstown, PA/Williams Valley) posted an RBI double while Ally Paskas (Rutherford, NJ/Rutherford) added a sacrifice fly in the first. Brooke Limeberry (Easton, PA/Easton) and Emily McGarth each added RBI hits later in the game for Wilkes. Nicole Cumbo (Wyoming, PA/Wyoming Area) suffered the loss in the circle in game one for Wilkes pitching four and two-thirds innings allowing all nine runs on nine hits.
