Wilkes improves to 16-14 overall and 10-7 in league games following the league win. Manhattanville opened a 2-0 lead after the first inning using a single and RBI triple before a Wilkes error plated the second Valiant tally. The Valiants added to their lead in the top of the fourth using a Wilkes error in the field to place a runner on third with one out. A single would later plate the run in the frame. After Manhattanville added another run in the sixth, Wilkes finally crossed the plate in the bottom half of the frame thanks to an RBI single from Ryan Herbst (East Islip, NY/St. John the Baptist) that scored Joe Champi (Dupont, PA/Pittston) as the Colonels trailed 4-1. Joshua Slocum (Clarks Summit, PA/Abington Heights) kept the rally going with back-to-back RBI singles plating Stephen Ruch (Dallas, PA/Holy Redeemer) cutting the Valiant advantage in half at 4-2 through six. With Manhattanville leading 5-2 in the eighth, Joe Champi (Dupont, PA/Pittston) connected on a solo home run to left field as the Colonels trailed 5-3. From there the Colonels went to work on their comeback in the bottom of the ninth all with two outs. Bobby Schappell (Pottsville, PA/Pottsville) started the rally with a single followed by another base hit from Jarret Clymer (Bethlehem, PA/Freedom). James Brown (Covington, PA/North Pocono) garnered a walk before the big two-run single from Champi. Ruch completed the comeback with a single to left field to seal the victory.Champi and Ruch each finished 3-for-5 to lead the Wilkes bats.
