Wilkes slips to 5-11 overall following the two defeats in non-league play. Susquehanna scored at least one run in each inning of the five-inning 10-0 victory in game one highlighted by two home runs from Kelly Miller including a two-run and three-run homer in back-to-back at-bats. Wilkes managed just four hits in game one with two coming off the bat of Brooke Limeberry (Easton, PA/Easton). Kim Jones (Endwell, NY/Maine-Endwell) suffered the loss in the circle for Wilkes pitching all five innings allowing seven earned runs on 11 hits while striking out two. The Lady Colonel offense came to life to start game two as Wilkes led 4-0 after the first three innings of play. Ally Paskas (Rutherford, NJ/Rutherford) did most of the damage with a three-run home run to left field in the first. Mia Lussier (Somerset, MA/Somerset Berkley) then scored on a passed ball in the second to give Wilkes its four-run lead early. Susquehanna started its comeback in the fifth using a two-run single and one-run single to cap a three run frame and tying the game at 4-4. The Crusaders made the comeback complete one inning later scoring three more runs, two on base hits and one on a Wilkes error. Lacey Bixler (Williamstown, PA/Williams Valley) and Emily McGrath (Upper Darby, PA/Drexel Hill) each posted two hits in game two to lead the Lady Colonel offense. Nicole Cumbo (Wyoming, PA/Wyoming Area) received the loss in the circle pitching all seven innings allowing three earned runs on ten hits.
