Field Hockey Falls 2-1 at Arcadia
GLENSIDE, PA.- The Wilkes University field hockey team outshot Arcadia University 17-13, but was unable to find the net a more than once and lost by a 2-1 final in Glenside on Saturday afternoon.
The Lady Colonels fell to 3-2 with the loss, while the Knights improved to 4-1 with the win.
Arcadia struck first in the fifth minute, when forward Tess Brzezynski found the back of the net with a helper from midfielder Lauren Ransegnola.

Jenna Skrinak (West Wyoming, PA/Wyoming Area) for a shot the got past Knights goalkeeper Brittany Hodson.
Arcadia scored the game-winning goal in the 63
rd minute when forward Allie Hines deflected a shot taken by Ransegnola, with an additional assist coming from midfielder Debbie Wolfe.

Dallas Kendra (Mountaintop, PA/Crestwood) fell to 3-2 with the loss, making seven saves in the effort. Knights' goalkeeper Brittany Hodson improved to 4-1 with win while making nine saves.
Wilkes returns to action on Wednesday when it travels to Elmira College for a 4 p.m. non-conference match. The Lady Colonels return home on Saturday when they host Alvernia University for a 12 p.m. non-conference match.
