SCRANTON, PA- The Wilkes University men's soccer team was defeated 4-0 at the University of Scranton on Wednesday afternoon.

The Colonels fall to 2-7-0 with the loss while the Royals improved to 4-3-1.

Scranton scored its goals in the 31^st, 34^th, 49^th, and 54^th minutes.

Junior Michael Hasbrouck (Vestal, NY/Vestal) and freshman Anthony Stefanelli (Upper Montclair, NJ/Passaic Valley) had two saves each in the effort.

Wilkes returns to action when it will host FDU-Florham on Saturday for its Freedom Conference-opening match during homecoming weekend at 7 p.m.
