WILKES-BARRE – The Wilkes University women's and men's basketball teams are set to host Delaware Valley University in a Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) double header on Saturday afternoon at the Marts Center.

The Lady Colonels enter this Saturday's contest with a 2-11 overall record, 0-3 MAC Freedom, following their 65-52 loss to Misericordia University on Wednesday evening. Wilkes is led by senior guard Cara Basile (Whitehall, PA/Whitehall), who is averaging 10.8 points and 5.6 rebounds-per-game. Jamie Campbell (Cinnaminson, NJ/Cinnaminson) is averaging 6.2 points and 1.5 assists. The Lady Colonels rank second in the MAC in steals-per-game with 11.69.

Delaware Valley enters this Saturday's game with a 5-9 overall record, 1-2 in MAC Freedom play following its 80-47 victory over Manhattanville College on Wednesday evening. The Aggies are led by senior guard Eireann Anastasi, who is averaging 16.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 2.57 steals-per-game. Delaware Valley is also led by junior center Sam Foy (11.4 points, 4.9 rebounds) and senior guard Kelsey Kilpatrick (11.4 points).

Marcus Robinson (Swedesboro, N.J./Kingsway Regional) is averaging 13.7 points and 2.4 assists in his rookie season, while Steve Stravinski (Pittston, PA/Pittston) is averaging close to a double-double with 13.6 points and 8.1 rebounds-per-game. The Colonels rank first in the MAC in three-pointers made this season, converting 153 attempts.
