Colonels Notebook• Wilkes is currently on a nine-match win streak dating back to November 14. The Colonels posted a sweep at the McDaniel quad match with wins over host McDaniel (24-19), NYU (22-18) and Greensboro (51-0) following a 30-6 victory over LIU-Post at the Grapple at the Garden held at Madison Square Garden. The Colonels recently posted a 36-9 victory over Centenary.

• Wilkes went 3-2 at last year's duals recording wins against Dubuque, St. John's and Luther before falling to Wisconsin LaCrosse and Coe.

• Wilkes opens the double elimination tournament against No. 17 Luther at 9:00 a.m. Friday.

• Wilkes finished fourth as a team at the Messiah Petrfoes including 10 top-eight placewinners at the event.
Thomas Stokes (Bensalem, PA/Bensalem) claimed the Colonels lone title at the event beating two ranked opponents on the way to the 141-pound championship. Stokes was also named Most Outstanding Wrestler.

• Wilkes finished 1-2 at the 2015 John Reese Duals falling 20-17 against No. 22 York (Pa.) and 18-16 to No. 12 Stevens Tech before claiming a 30-18 victory over Rowan College.

• Wilkes features three wrestlers ranked in the top ten according to the latest NWCA individual rankings including Fleck (10th at 125), Grossmann (1st at 133), and Diesel (5th at 184).

• The Colonels finished in second place at its season-opening tournament the Monarch Invitational hosted by King's College. Wilkes claimed three titles including Fleck at 125, Grossmann at 133 and Diesel at 184.
