Wilkes Women's Volleyball Drops 3-0 Decision at DeSales
CENTER VALLEY, PA – Host DeSales University posted a sweep in three sets over the Wilkes University women's volleyball team Wednesday night in a MAC Freedom match at Billera Hall. DeSales took the match by scores of 25-21, 25-14 and 25-10.
Wilkes falls to 9-16 overall and 1-4 in league matches following the loss while DeSales improves to 14-8 overall and sits in second place in the MAC Freedom standings at 4-1.
Jamey Mikovich (Nesquehoning, PA/Panther Valley) led the Lady Colonels attack finishing with eight kills and four total blocks.
Ally Paskas (Rutherford, NJ/Rutherford) added three kills and two total blocks while
Alexis Morgan (Walnutport, PA/Northampton) paced the passing game with 16 assists.
Juliet Betke (Poplar Grove, IL/Belvidere North) anchored the backline contributing 12 digs.
Wilkes remains idle until next Tuesday when the Lady Colonels host Delaware Valley University for a MAC Freedom match starting at 7:00 p.m. at the Marts Center.
