Wilkes Men's Golf Finishes 7th at AGA Invitational
MOOSIC, PA – The Wilkes University men's golf team finished in seventh place at the AGA College Coal Shuttle Invitational hosted by Marywood University at the Glenmaura National Golf Club on Sunday afternoon.
The Colonels finished with a team score of 740 (377/363) through the two rounds of the tournament. King's College took home first place with a score of 621 while Rosemont finished second at 625, four strokes behind the leaders.
Corey Hauser (Wilkes-Barre, PA/Coughlin) led all Wilkes finishers carding a two-day total of 175 (90/85).
Nathan Hunter (Elysburg, PA/Southern Columbia) followed with a 186 (99/87).
Eric Geiger (Schuylkill Haven, PA/Schuylkill Haven) finished at 191 (102/89) and
David Zydko (Pittston, PA/Pittston Area) at 203 (101/102) to round out the Colonel scorers.
Race Sick took home medalist honors for Rosemont carding a two-day low of 149 (77/72) on the par 71 course.
Wilkes hosts cross-town rival King's Thursday at Huntsville Golf Club at 1:00 p.m.
