EDWARDSVILLE – The Wilkes University men's soccer team squared off with DeSales University at Schmidt Stadium on Saturday afternoon, falling by a 1-0 final in Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) play.

The Colonels are now 3-13 overall and 1-5 in MAC Freedom play.

The score remained tied through the first half, but the Bulldogs converted the games only score in the 66^th minute.

Sophomore Tim Gallagher (Easton, PA/Notre Dame Green Pond) made 13 saves for Wilkes in the game.

Wilkes returns to the field on Saturday against Manhattanville at 7:30 pm with a pre-game ceremony to honor the senior Colonels playing in their final home game.
