Men's Basketball Ready for MAC Freedom Championship at Delaware Valley
WILIKES-BARRE – The Wilkes University men's basketball team is set to travel to Doylestown, Pa. to take on the Aggies of Delaware Valley University in the Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom Championship on Saturday afternoon with tip-off scheduled for 2 p.m.
This is the Colonels first trip to the tournament finals since 2011-2012, when they faced Misericordia. Overall, this is Wilkes' ninth trip to the conference finals, with the Colonels winning four conference titles. Wilkes will be looking to secure its first championship since the 2000-2001 season.

Marcus Robinson (Swedesboro, N.J./Kingsway Regional), who is averaging 14.0 points and 2.5 assists, while senior guard/forward
Steve Stravinski (Pittston, PA/Pittston) is averaging 13.2 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 2.0 assists.
The Aggies are led by senior forward/center Chris Moran, who is averaging 19.4 points and 10.1 rebounds-per-game this season. Delaware Valley is also led by junior guard Tyliek Kimbrough (13.0 points, 4.1 assists), and senior forward Barry Brockington (11.8 points, 4.7 rebounds).
