DALLAS, PA – The Wilkes University men's golf team opened its 2016 spring season falling to host Misericordia University 330-380 at the Irem Temple Country Club on Monday afternoon.
 
Alex Anderson (Bear Creek, PA/Coughlin) led the Colonels carding an 84. John Scalese (Medford, NY/Patchogue-Medford) followed shooting a 95 while Michael Malshefski (Nanticoke, PA/Nanticoke) and Austin Hackenberg (Middleburg, PA/Midd-West) finished at 98 and 103 respectively.
 
Zack Mulhern led all players topping Misericordia with a 77.
 
Wilkes returns to the course next Wednesday March 30^th hosting the University of Scranton at 1:00 p.m.
