HERSHEY, PA – The Wilkes University women's golf team finished in ninth place at the 2016 Middle Atlantic Conference Championships Sunday afternoon at the Hershey Country Club.
 
Wilkes shot a combined 1125 over the two-day event. Stevenson University captured the championship carding a team score of 741. Eastern University followed in second place with a team score of 768.
 
Alex Flood topped the Lady Colonel individual scorers carding a 244 (125/119) over the two rounds of play. Christy Taylor (Carlstad, NJ/Lenape Valley) followed shooting a 272 (129/143) while Kate Mahoney (Kingston, NH/Central Catholic) shot a 274 (152/122) and Elizabeth Reyes (Old Bridge, NJ/Old Bridge) a 335 (170/165) at the event.
