Wilkes Women's Cross Country Finishes Fifth at Dutchmen Invitational
LEBANON, PA – The Wilkes University women's cross country team finished in fifth place at the Dutchmen Invitational 5k race hosted by Lebanon Valley College Saturday afternoon.

Wilkes garnered a combined 120 team points in the race with four top-30 place finishers.
Morgan Jones (Huntley, MT/Huntley Project) led the Lady Colonels with an 11
th place finish finishing at 20:36.48, good for sixth all-time in school history in the 5k.
Caroline Rickard (Orwigsburg, PA/Blue Mountain) followed with a time of 21:38.40 for 21
st place.
Kaitlin Sutton (Shavertown, PA/Lake Lehman) came in at 22:39.44 for 27
th overall while
Brittany Martin (Frackville, PA/North Schuylkill) claimed 28
th place with a time of 22:42.47.
Regan Murphy (Plainfield, PA/Pen Argyl) crossed the line at 23:40.10 for 33
rd place and
Alexis Nicholson (Allentown, PA/Allentown Central Catholic) and
Carly Hein (Northampton, PA/Northampton) rounded out the Wilkes runners with times of 24:38.70 and 25:03.11 respectively.
Misericordia University took home first place at the event with Eastern University following in second place as a team.
Wilkes remains idle through next week before competing at the Messiah Invitational on September 24 starting at 10:30 a.m.
