Wilkes Women's Volleyball Falls 3-0 at FDU-Florham
MADISON, N.J. – The Wilkes University women's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 (19-25, 20-25, 17-25) decision at Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) foe FDU-Florham on Wednesday evening.
The Lady Colonels fell to 8-9 overall and 1-2 in MAC Freedom play.
Wilkes' offense was led by junior
Grace Boyle (Andreas, PA/Marian Catholic), who finished with 11 kills. Junior
Madison Scarfaro (Whitehall, PA/Whitehall) added seven while senior
Ally Paskas (Rutherford, NJ/Rutherford) and freshman
Jamey Mikovich (Nesquehoning, PA/Panther Valley) added four kills each. Junior
Alexis Morgan (Walnutport, PA/Northampton) led the way for the offense with 21 assists.
On the back line, Paskas led the way with 12 digs. Morgan and freshman
Juliet Betke (Poplar Grove, IL/Belvidere North) added five digs each. Scarfaro led the front line with two assists, and Boyle added four service aces.
The Lady Colonels return to action on Saturday when they face Arcadia University and Lycoming College at the MAC crossover in Williamsport, Pa.
