Wilkes Women's Cross Country Finishes Season at the NCAA Mideast Regional
NEWVILLE, PA. – The Wilkes University women's cross country team finished 41
st out of 49 teams at the 2017 NCAA Mideast Regional hosted by Dickinson College at Big Spring High School Saturday afternoon.

The Lady Colonels scored 1,205 team points in the 6k event where there were 351 total participants.
Senior
Moriah Teed (Newark Valley, NY/Newark Valley) was the top Wilkes finisher in 221
st place with a time of 26:40.8. Freshman
Autumn Pedron (Pottsville, PA/Minersville) finished 233
rd in 26:53.3.
The next three Lady Colonels to cross the finish line did so in season-best fashion. Sophomore
Caroline Rickard (Orwigsburg, PA/Blue Mountain) (256
th, 27:33.2), senior
Carmen Hillman (Urbana, OH/Graham School) (261
st, 27:46.1), and sophomore
Kaitlin Sutton (Shavertown, PA/Lake Lehman) (288
th, 28:45.1) rounded out the scorers for Wilkes.
