• Wilkes continues its dual match stretch at home Friday hosting Elizabethtown College at 7:00 p.m. before traveling to New York City Sunday for the Grapple at the Garden where the Colonels will face No. 3 Stevens and LIU Post.
 
• Wilkes swept two matches at the McDaniel Duals posting a 35-9 victory over Southern Virginia before beating host McDaniel 25-12.
 
• The Colonels went 2-3 at the Mount Union Duals with wins over Alma 34-8 and Greensboro 31-13.
 
• Wilkes finished 1-2 at the NY/PA Duals with a 38-6 win against Hunter College after falling to No. 11 Cortland 23-20 and NYU 34-6.
 
• Wilkes finished in tenth place at the Ned McGinley Invitational to open the season two weeks ago as one Colonel earned a top-six finish. Freshman Kyle Trout (Mount Laurel, NJ/Lenape) took home fifth place at 125-pounds in the tournament.
 
• Wilkes features two ranked wrestlers in the latest NWCA individual rankings. Nicholas Racanelli (West Creek, NJ/Southern Regional) is ranked fourth at 165-pounds and Matthew Grossmann (Lancaster, PA/Manheim Township) is ranked sixth at 141-pounds.
 
• The Colonels 2017-18 roster goes 37 deep with a class breakdown of: 4 seniors; 3 juniors; 14 sophomores; and 16 freshmen.
 
• The roster features athletes from nine states: Pennsylvania - 19; New Jersey - 7; New York - 3; Virginia - 2; California - 1; Connecticut - 2; Delaware - 1; Maryland - 1; Vermont – 1
