WILKES-BARRE – The Wilkes University women's and men's basketball teams will travel to Eastern University for its respective Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom and regular season finales on Saturday afternoon.

The Lady Colonels enter their final matchup of the regular season with a 5-19 overall record, 0-13 in MAC Freedom play this season after falling to King's by a 78-61 final on Tuesday evening.

Wilkes is led by senior Haley Mesaros (Royersford, PA/Pope John Paul II), who is averaging 7.7 points-per-game (ppg) and 3.4 rebounds-per-game (rpg) this season. The Lady Colonels are also led by sophomore Ashley Caster (York, PA/Spring Grove), who is averaging 7.3 ppg and 5.3 rpg, and freshman Gianna Roberts (Nanticoke, PA/Nanticoke), who is averaging 7.2 ppg and 4.0 rpg.

Wilkes is averaging 57.1 ppg this season while opponents are averaging 70.8 ppg.

Eastern enters the final weekend with a 16-8 overall record, 7-6 in MAC Freedom play following its 48-33 win over Delaware Valley to clinch a spot in the MAC Freedom tournament.

The Eagles are led by senior Emily Lavin, who is averaging 16.2 ppg, 9.7 rpg, and 3.9 blocks-per-game (bpg) this season. Eastern is also led by junior Taylor Price's 13.5 ppg, 7.6 rpg, and 3.5 assists-per-game (apg) and sophomore Regie Robinson's 12.5 ppg, 10.0 rpg, abd 2.2 apg.

The Eagles are averaging 62.6 ppg this season while surrendering 58.5 ppg.

The Colonels enters this weekend's contest with a 12-12 overall record, 6-7 in MAC Freedom play following its 84-68 win over King's on Tuesday.

Wilkes is led by sophomore Marcus Robinson (Swedesboro, N.J./Kingsway Regional), who is averaging 15.5 ppg (fifth in MAC Freedom) and 4.0 rpg this season. The Colonels are also led by sophomore Connor Evans (Cicero, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse), who is averaging 12.8 ppg and 3.6 apg (sixth in MAC Freedom), and sophomore Tommy Bowen (Hummelstown, Pa./Lower Dauphin), who is averaging 8.1 ppg and 4.2 rpg this season.

Wilkes is averaging 74.5 ppg this season while opponents are scoring 72.6 ppg.

Eastern enters the final weekend with a 15-9 overall record, 10-3 in MAC Freedom play after falling 72-60 at Delaware Valley on Tuesday evening.

The Eagles are led by senior Shaquan Turk, who is averaging 18.7 ppg and 5.2 rpg this season. Eastern is also led by sophomore Victor Peña's 13.2 ppg and 9.5 rpg, and sophomore Austin Duncan's 11.5 ppg.

The Eagles are averaging 77.3 ppg this season while surrendering 75.7 ppg.
