Wilkes Women's Volleyball Falls at Moravian
BETHLEHEM, PA – The Wilkes University women's volleyball team suffered a 3-0 setback in non-conference action Thursday night at Moravian College by set scores of 13-25, 22-25, and 23-25.
With the loss Wilkes fell to 4-8 overall and they are 0-2 in the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom. Moravian moved to 7-7 overall.

Alexis Morgan (Walnutport, PA/Northampton) turned in her third double-double of the season with 21 assists and 16 digs. Sophomore opposite
Jamey Mikovich (Nesquehoning, PA/Panther Valley) had 10 kills for her seventh match of the season with double digit kills. Mikovich and sophomore libero
Juliet Betke (Poplar Grove, IL/Belvidere North) both had nine digs.
The Lady Colonels almost extended the match to a fourth set after trailing 20-14 in the third. An ace by senior middle hitter
Kayley Schinski (Nanticoke, PA/Nanticoke) tied the score at 21 and then a block by Morgan and sophomore middle hitter
Michele Natale (Kinnelon, NJ/Kinnelon) again tied the score at 23 before the Greyhounds took the final two points to end the match.

Madison Scarfaro (Whitehall, PA/Whitehall) contributed four kills and sophomore outside hitter
Alex Ferrier (Cressona, PA/Blue Mountain) had two aces.
Wilkes heads to Camden, N.J. on Saturday for a non-conference tri-match against Wesley College and Rutgers-Camden. The games are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
