DOYLESTOWN, Pa. – The Wilkes University women's cross country team finished ninth out of 13 teams at the Aggies Open hosted by Delaware Valley University on Saturday morning.

The Lady Colonels finished with a team score of 230 only four points out of seventh place.

Senior Moriah Teed (Newark Valley, NY/Newark Valley) finished first for Wilkes, coming in 26^th overall in the 6k race at 27:11.7.

Freshman Autumn Pedron (Pottsville, PA/Minersville) (50^th, 28:35.7), senior Carmen Hillman (Urbana, OH/Graham School) (64^th, 29:43.4), sophomore Kaitlin Sutton (Shavertown, PA/Lake Lehman) (80^th, 31:07.2), and freshman Faith Jensen (Mount Bethel, PA/Bangor) (89^th, 31:51.2) earned points for the Lady Colonels.

Senior Kaitlyn Sitch (Weatherly, PA/MMI Prep) (95^th, 32:07.7) rounded out the Wilkes participants.

The Lady Colonels return to action Saturday, September 30 for the Dickinson Short-Long Invitational in Newville, Pa. at 10:30 a.m.
