WILKES-BARRE – The Wilkes University men's and women's basketball teams will head down the turnpike for their third respective Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) matchup's of the 2017-18 season, making the trek to Doylestown, Pa. where each will face off with Delaware Valley University on Wednesday evening.

The Colonels enter this week's matchup with a 9-4 overall record including a perfect 2-0 in MAC Freedom play after surviving a late push from Manhattanville in Saturday's 73-68 win at the Marts Center.

Wilkes is led by Rob Pecorelli (Huntington, NY/Harborfields), who is averaging 15.7 points, good for third in the MAC Freedom. Pecorelli is also averaging 4.9 rebounds, and 2.5 assists (seventh), while shooting 47 percent (61-130) from the field and 40 percent (31-78) from three-point range. The Colonels are also led by Marcus Robinson (Swedesboro, NJ/Kingsway Regional)'s 15.0 points-per-game (fourth) to go with 6.0 rebounds (11^th) and 2.2 assists (t-10^th) while shooting 40 percent (61-153) from the floor. Mark Mullins (Binghamton, NY/Chenango Valley) rounds out Wilkes' double-figure scorers with 12.7 points-per-game (11^th), and 6.5 rebounds (ninth), while shooting 46 percent (42-91) from the field.

The Colonels are averaging 76.2 points-per-game while allowing 68.3, the second best in the MAC Freedom, while carrying the top scoring margin, outscoring opponents by 7.9 points.

Delaware Valley enters Wednesday's contest with a 2-11 overall record, 0-2 in MAC Freedom play after falling at DeSales 78-56 on Saturday.

The Aggies are led by Alex Mastinye, who is averaging 11.0 points and 5.4 rebounds-per-game. Delaware Valley is also led by Damian Washington's 10.8 ppg and 4.4 apg this season.

The Aggies are averaging 66.3 points this season while allowing 79.4 points.

The Lady Colonels enter the midweek game with a 4-8 overall record, 0-2 in the conference following a 93-79 non-conference victory over Penn State Hazleton on Monday evening.

Wilkes is led in the scoring column by Alyssa Alfano (Dunmore, PA/Holy Cross), who is posting 10.2 ppg (t-16^th) with 3.8 rpg and 2.4 apg (t-11^th). The Lady Colonels are also led by Gianna Roberts (Nanticoke, PA/Nanticoke)' 9.3 ppg, 6.4 rpg (11^th) and 43 percent (39-90) shooting from the field, and Catey McFadden (Doylestown, PA/Archbishop Wood)'s 9.2 ppg and 8.0 rpg (sixth).

Wilkes is averaging 59.8 ppg this season while opponents are netting 73.8 ppg.

Delaware Valley comes into Wednesday's game with a 3-10 overall record, 0-2 in MAC Freedom play after a 60-55 defeat at DeSales on Saturday afternoon.

The Aggies are led by Ashley Smink, who is averaging 16.0 ppg this season with 3.6 rpg and 2.6 apg. Delaware Valley is also led by Danielle Skedzielewski's 10.5 ppg and 5.2 rpg.

The Aggies are averaging 62.2 ppg this season while opponents are averaging 65.5 ppg.
