Season Records Set for Wilkes Women's Cross Country at Inter-Regional Border Battle
LOGAN TOWNSHIP, NJ – All six runners for the Wilkes University women's cross country team set their season best times Saturday at the Inter-Regional Border Battle at the Gloucester County DREAM Park hosted by Rowan University. The Colonels placed 38
th of 39 teams.

The five scoring runners for Wilkes earned 1,202 points while Johns Hopkins took the team title with 33 points on the 6k course.
Autumn Pedron (Pottsville, PA/Minersville) improved upon her career best time with a 25:45.1 to place 282
nd out of 347 total runners as the top Colonels finisher.
Caroline Rickard (Orwigsburg, PA/Blue Mountain) set a season best time of 26:04.6 to place 296
th.
Sara Ross (Nazareth, PA/Nazareth) completed the course in a career best time of 26:21.1 to finish 303
rd. Rounding out the Colonels scorers were
Kyleigh Smeltzer (Manchester, PA/Northeastern) (319
th, 27:39.9) and
Mia Walker (Matawan, NJ/Matawan Regional) (327
th, 28:23.9). Smeltzer set a season best and Walker recorded her career best time.
Sydney Rochette (Colchester, CT/Academy of Aerospace and Engineering) rounded out the Wilkes runners with a career best of 28:24.1 in 328
th place.
