LEHMAN, PA – Chris Nixon shot a round-low 83 to lead host Wilkes University to a 348-358 victory over Misericordia University in a dual match at the Huntsville Golf Club on Wednesday afternoon.
 
Wilkes improved its dual match record to 3-1 on the season following the win.
 
Corey Cowitch (Northampton, PA/Northampton Area) followed Nixon carding an 84 while Nathan Hunter (Elysburg, PA/Southern Columbia) finished with an 87. Corey Hauser (Wilkes-Barre, PA/Coughlin) rounded out the Colonel finishers shooting a 94 on the Par 72 course.
 
Zach Mulhern led Misericordia carding an 83 for the Cougars.
 
Wilkes returns to the course Friday hosting cross-town rival King's College at 1:00 p.m. at the Huntsville Golf Club.
