Wilkes Women's Cross Country Places Fourth at Season Opening Misericordia Invitational
Dallas, PA – The Wilkes University women's cross country team opened its 2018 season Friday evening by finishing fourth of six teams at the Misericordia Invitational.
Results
Sixty three runners took part in the 4k race to start the season before the ladies run the normal 6k championship distance at future events. The five Colonel scoring runners combined for 131 points which tied with Penn College for fourth place but Wilkes was awarded the tiebreaker with three of the five scoring runners finishing higher.
Host Misericordia was the team champion with 27 points.
