LEHMAN, PA – The Wilkes University men's golf team opened its 2018 fall season falling 307-370 against the University of Scranton on Wednesday afternoon at the Huntsville Golf Club.
 
Wilkes' Corey Cowitch (Northampton, PA/Northampton Area) led all Colonel scorers carding an 81 on the par 72 course. Andrew Finke (West Milford, NJ/West Milford Twp.) finished with an 84 while Austin Paisley (Sugarloaf, PA/Marian Catholic) shot a 94 and Teddy Marines (Harrisburg, PA/Bermudian Springs) rounded out the group with a 111.
 
Scranton's Calvin Ralph led all scorers shooting a one over 73 on the day.
 
The two teams will meet again next Thursday playing at the Glenmaura National Golf Club at 1:00 p.m.
