MOOSIC, PA – The Wilkes University men's golf team shot a combined 352 finishing in third place in a tri-match against Marywood University and host University of Scranton at the Glenmaura National Golf Club on Thursday afternoon.
 
Scranton took home first place with a team score of 310 while Marywood followed in second finishing with a team score of 347 on the Par 71 course (6,308 yards).
 
Andrew Finke (West Milford, NJ/West Milford Twp.) led all Colonel scorers carding an 82. Corey Cowitch (Northampton, PA/Northampton Area) followed with an 83 while Nathan Hunter (Elysburg, PA/Southern Columbia) finished the round with an 84. Austin Paisley (Sugarloaf, PA/Marian Catholic) (103) and Teddy Marines (Harrisburg, PA/Bermudian Springs) (110) rounded out the Wilkes competitors.
 
Calvin Ralph led all scorers carding a 71 for Scranton. Marywood was paced by Jim Tressler's 76.
 
Wilkes closes out its fall season Tuesday with a match against cross-town rival King's College at the Wyoming Valley Country Club.
