Wilkes Women's Cross Country Places Eighth at Stevenson Invitational
STEVENSON, MD – The Wilkes women's cross country team competed at the Shannon Henretty Invitational Saturday hosted by Stevenson University, placing eighth out of the 10 teams at the event.
The Colonels raced the 6k distance for the first time this season and finished with a team score of 195 points. Johns Hopkins was the overall team champion and 118 total runners took to the course.
Autumn Pedron (Pottsville, PA/Minersville) was the top Wilkes finisher in 47
th place with a time of 27:21.37. The remaining five scoring runners for Wilkes were

The Colonels head to Dallas, Pa. next Saturday to compete at the Cougar Classic starting at 10:00 a.m.
