ELMIRA, N.Y. – Host No. 3 Elmira College scored four goals in each period on way to a 12-0 opening season victory over Wilkes University Saturday afternoon in United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) action.
 
Elmira saw six different players reach the scoring column as Eliza Beaudin recorded a hat trick and Emma Crocker, Jenny Heath and Holley Riva each posted two goals.
 
Elmira held a commanding 56-8 shot advantage. Allyson Joly (Lincoln, RI) finished with 44 saves in the game including 26 stops over the second period.
 
Wilkes is back in action tomorrow with a UCHC contest at William Smith College starting at 4:00 p.m.
