No. 10 Misericordia Defeats Wilkes Women's Soccer
 
DALLAS, Pa. – The Wilkes University women's soccer team fell by a 9-2 final in Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) play at Misericordia University, the number 10 team in the latest United Soccer Coaches National Poll, on Tuesday evening.
 
The Colonels now stand at 0-1-2 in conference, 4-6-2 overall.
 
Gabrielle Ricci (Millstone, NJ/Allentown) got Wilkes on the board in the 17th minute to cut the deficit to 2-1 after the Cougars opened the scoring in the seventh and eighth minutes.
 
Emily Bidelspach (Myerstown, PA/ELCO) finished the Colonels scoring in the 62nd minute unassisted.
 
Hannah Landis (Red Hill, PA/Upper Perkiomen) made 12 saves for Wilkes.
 
The Colonels return to the pitch on Saturday when they travel to Arcadia for a 4:00 p.m. MAC Freedom contest.
