Bidelspach's Overtime Tally Carries Wilkes Women's Soccer Over Arcadia
 
GLENSIDE, Pa. – Emily Bidelspach's (Myerstown, PA/ELCO) 97th-minute tally carried the Wilkes University women's soccer team to its first Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) victory of the season, a 1-0 final at Arcadia University on Saturday afternoon.
 
The Colonels improved to 1-1-2 in league play and 5-6-2 overall with the win.
 
Neither team was able to break through in regulation, sending the contest to extra time where Erica Feese (State College, PA/State College Area) found Bidelspach for the game-winner.
 
Hannah Landis (Red Hill, PA/Upper Perkiomen) earned the win for Wilkes.
 
The Colonels outshot the Knights 19-2, with an 11-0 advantage in shots on target, while earning 11 corner kicks compared with three for Arcadia.
 
The Colonels return to action on Wednesday when they will host King's for a 7:00 p.m. MAC Freedom game.
