ANNVILLE, PA – Junior Matthew Horwedel (Delanson, NY/Schalmont Senior), senior Andrew Reichard (Easton, PA/Easton Area), first year Lucas Mueller (Dusseldorf, Germany/Quirinus- Gynasium), and sophomore Andrew Slusser (Fleetwood, PA/Fleetwood Area) were all named to the All-MAC (Middle Atlantic Conference) Freedom squad as announced by the conference Thursday morning.  Mueller also earned Rookie of the Year honors for the conference.
 
Horwedel earned First Team honors as a midfielder after earning honorable mention honors in 2019.  He finished tied for second in the MAC Freedom in assists with six, and second on the Navy and Gold with 14 points on the season.  He had a pair of game-winners with 18 shots on goal and a .500 shot on goal percentage.
 
Reichard earned Second Team honors as a forward, leading the Colonels and second in the conference with nine goals on the season.  He led the team with 18 points and 19 shots on goal and also recorded three game winning goals on the season.  He had a .543 shot on goal percentage and scored in nine of the Colonels 19 games.
 
Mueller earned Second Team honors as a defender and was named Rookie of the Year.  He came on strong towards the end of the Colonels season, scoring four goals in the last six games for the Colonels.  He scored the lone goal in a 1-0 victory against DeSales to send the Colonels to the MAC Freedom playoffs in the final game of the season.  He tied for second on the squad with three assists and earned MAC Freedom Offensive Player of the Week honors on 11/1.
 
Slusser was named Honorable Mention All-MAC Freedom as a defender.  He earned MAC Freedom Defensive Player of the Week honors on 10/4 and anchored a defense that held opponents to 1.37 goals per game, good for fifth in the conference, and helped the Navy and Gold record six shutouts and allow more than two goals only three times on the season.
