WILKES-BARRE – The Wilkes University women's basketball team is set to host FDU-Florham in a Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) matchup on Monday at 4:30 p.m. inside the Marts Center to close out regular season play.

Wilkes enters the game with a 1-7 overall record and at 0-6 in the MAC Freedom following a doubleheader against Misericordia which produced 46-36 and 69-60 losses on Thursday and Friday.
 
Senior guard Maddie Kelley (Dallas, PA/Dallas) leads Wilkes and ranks sixth in the MAC Freedom with 11.5 points-per-game (ppg). She also leads the team with 5.0 rebounds-per-game (rpg). Kelley also leads the conference in three-pointers made per-game (2.0). Sophomore guard Brenna Babcock (Sweet Valley, PA/Northwest Area) is second on the team with 6.8 ppg. She led Wilkes with by scoring her season high of 13 points in the Colonels last game. Fellow sophomore guard Katelyn Kinczel (Highland Heights, OH/Mayfield) is third on the Colonels with 6.4 ppg. She is second in the conference with 1.8 three-pointers made per-game and a .341 three-point shooting percentage.
 
Senior forward Gabby Smicherko (Edwardsville, PA/Wyoming Valley West) leads the team and ranks fifth in the MAC Freedom with 2.8 assists-per-game (apg). She is fourth on the team with 6.0 ppg. First-year center Erin Shober (Reading, PA/Wilson) is second in the MAC Freedom with 1.9 blocks-per-game. Sophomore guard Brianna Horton (Verona, NJ/Verona) scored a career high 11 points in the Colonels last game.
 
Wilkes is averaging 50.4 ppg on offense which ranks seventh in the conference and ranks sixth allowing 61.8 ppg on defense.
 
FDU-Florham enters with 0-7 marks overall and in the MAC Freedom after being swept by Delaware Valley 55-39 and 62-39 on Thursday and Friday.
 
Sophomore guard/forward Jayda Bing leads the Devils and ranks 11th in the conference with 9.7 ppg. She leads the team and ranks seventh in the league with 6.9 rpg and leads the Devils in assists and steals. First-year guard Jade-Dee Tolentino is second on the team with 9.0 ppg while senior forward Francesca Shipe is second on the team with 6.3 rpg.
 
FDU-Florham ranks eighth in the conference with 39.1 ppg on offense and eighth with 67.3 ppg on defense.
