EDWARDSVILLE – A 99^th minute goal ended a thrilling 1-0 overtime matchup between the Wilkes University men's soccer team and Drew University in non-conference action from Bruggeworth Field on Saturday afternoon.
 
The Colonels fall to 3-1 with the defeat.
 
Wilkes controlled possession for the first 20-plus minutes, taking four shots and two corner kicks before the Rangers got their first shot attempt.
 
Neither team was able to break through in regulation as the game headed to overtime tied at zero.
 
Drew secured the victory with a goal in the 99^th minute.
 
Zach Tone (Easton, PA/Easton Area) made six saves in goal for the Colonels.
 
Wilkes returns to action on Wednesday when it travels to Susquehanna for a 7:00 p.m. non-conference game.
