ITHACA, N.Y. – The Wilkes University women's soccer team lost by a 1-0 final at Ithaca College on Saturday afternoon.
 
The Colonels now stand at 1-1 on the 2021 season.
 
Goalkeeper Hannah Landis (Red Hill, PA/Upper Perkiomen) came out strong over the first 15 minutes, making three stops to keep the score level at zero.
 
Ithaca broke through in the 35^th minute to take the lead.
 
Wilkes almost broke through around the 50^th minute with two shots and a corner kick, but were unable to put through the equalizer.
 
Landis finished the contest with 12 saves.
 
The Colonels return to the pitch on Wednesday when they travel to William Paterson for a 7:00 p.m. non-conference game.
