Wilkes Women's Ice Hockey Falls 7-0 at Chatham
PITTSBURGH, PA. – The Wilkes University Colonels wrapped up their season series against the Chatham Cougars Saturday afternoon in a United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) battle.
The Colonels (1-8, 1-6 UCHC) fell to their conference foe Cougars (6-6, 5-4) 7-0. The Cougars scored four goals in the first period and four in the second and outshot the Navy and Gold 55-19 on goal. Senior goaltender
Allyson Joly (Lincoln, RI) and sophomore goaltender
Addy Olson (Naples, FL/) split time in net, each recording 24 saves as Joly took the loss. Olson didn't allow a single goal on the afternoon in just over a period of time in the net.
The Colonels look to snap their losing streak as they return to the Toyota SportsPlex to face conference foe Manhattanville Friday and Saturday next week. Puck drop is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. on Friday and 3:30 p.m. Saturday as the Colonels seek their first-ever program victory over their conference rival.
