Wilkes Women's Lacrosse Releases 2023 Schedule
WILKES-BARRE – The Wilkes University athletic department announced the Colonels 2023 women's lacrosse schedule Friday afternoon as part of a one-week series featuring schedules for all spring sports.
The Colonels return to the Ralston Athletic Complex as they compete in 17 games this season under second-year head coach Amber McCarver. The schedule features eight Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) matchups and nine home contests.

Wilkes begins their season at home as they host Marywood University on Tuesday, February 21 at 5:00 p.m. at Schmidt Stadium The Colonels then go on the road to Mount Saint Mary College (NY) on Saturday, February 25 at 12:00 p.m.
Wilkes will then have back-to-back home games, playing Gwynedd Mercy University on Wednesday March 1 at 4:00 p.m. and Juniata College on Saturday, March 4 at 1:00 p.m. Then the Colonels will go down to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina as they play Ferrum College on March 7 and North Carolina Wesleyan College on March 8, both matchups start at 1:00 p.m.
There are three non-conference games left on the schedule once Wilkes returns from its trip south as the Colonels host Neumann University (3/15) and Manhattanville College (3/21) before going on the road to compete against Bryn Athyn (3/25).
The Colonels begin MAC Freedom action on Wednesday, March 29 at 7:00 p.m. when they face Arcadia University on the road. Then Wilkes gets its first home conference game against Delaware Valley University on Saturday, April 1 at 1:00 p.m.
The rest of the MAC Freedom schedule for Wilkes consist of: at Stevens Institute of Technology (4/5), home against Lycoming College (4/12), at Misericordia University (4/19), hosting FDU-Florham (4/22), at DeSales University (4/26), and the home season finale against King's College (4/29).
Wilkes will continue to release its 2023 spring schedules on Monday and Tuesday of next week.
