Wilkes Women's Lacrosse Releases 2026 Schedule
WILKES-BARRE - The Wilkes University athletic department has announced the 2026 schedule for the women's lacrosse team Thursday afternoon as a part of a series of schedule releases for all 2026 spring teams.
The Colonels will play 17 games during the regular season, including nine home games at Schmidt Stadium. Head coach Taylor Drumheller enters her first season at the helm for the Colonels, becoming the sixth head coach in program history.

Wilkes opens the season at home on Saturday, Feb. 21 against the University of Pitt-Bradford with a 12 p.m. start time. Afterwards, they go on the road to take on Gwynedd Mercy University on Feb. 25. The Colonels will return home for their next game against Bryn Mawr College, and then go back on the road to play Sweet Briar College on March 4.
Next for the Colonels is a home game against Notre Dame of Maryland University on March 7, before back-to-back road games, against Elmira College on March 11, and against cross-town rival King's College on March 14. Following the road trip, the Colonels come back to Schmidt Stadium as they welcome SUNY Polytechnic Institute on March 18 for their final non-conference game of the season.
Landmark Conference play begins on the road against Juniata College on March 21. The Colonels will stay on the road for their next game on March 25 against Susquehanna University. The first home conference game for the team is against Catholic University on March 28, and then the Colonels go back on the road to take on Goucher College on April 1.
Wilkes will finish the regular season with four of their last five games at home. The first two games in that stretch are against Drew University on April 8, and against Elizabethtown College on April 11. The Colonels will play their last road regular season game against the University of Scranton on April 15, before hosting their final two games against Moravian University on April 18, and then Lycoming College on April 22.Â
Wilkes will continue to release its 2026 spring schedules with softball on Thursday.
